Skull & Crossbones with Yacht Ensign on a Fence in Ocean City, MD.
This presents, for comparison, two nearly identical, outdoor still-life style photographs. The first has been edited with a gold-tone filter to give it more of an “old time” feel/appearance and the second is almost at captured by the camera.
Please feel free to leave a comment saying which one you prefer – and why. Thank you.

Can you identify the location in Ocean City, Maryland where this display can be seen in person? Hint: it is near a dune crossing.
Bill,
The one with the gold filter looks more aged. I’m sure it would appeal to those who are decorating with a more “old fashioned” look.
On the other hand the one “almost” straight out of the camera would appeal to those who like to surround ourselves with bright colors.
It really would depend on where I was going to display this image before I could say which I preferred. I would be more inclined to put the one with the gold tone filter outside on a fence and the brightly colored one on a porch (or inside) where there would be less light.
